Formerly of Merlin. Predeceased by his wife Grace (1965). Dear father of Kenneth and wife Eleanor STEVENSON, Ridgetown, Jean and husband Ross BROWN, Ottawa. Dear grandpa of James and Sue STEVENSON, Oakville, Diane and Paul McGARY, Oshawa, Nancy and Shawn TOUT, Guelph, John STEVENSON, Toronto, Jennifer and Martin MIHOWICH, Ottawa, Keith BROWN and FiancÚ Rikke DAM, Ottawa. Dear great-grandfather of Laura, Paige, Megan, Alexander, Kellie and Lauren. Dear brother of Janet SMITH, Woodslee. Dr. David Alexander Stewart (1874-1937)
was the eldest son of Francis Beattie Stewart and Elizabeth Farquharson Stewart who left Aberdeenshire in the UK, and settled at Fletcher, Ontario, until 1891 when they moved to Morden, Manitoba where he pursued a distinguished medical career and was instrumental in the fight against TB in Canada.

Glassford -- Sophia (Mrs. John) Judd, (1851 - 1923); b. 1851 in Birmingham England; d. 9 APR 1923. Sophia and her children John, Albert and Amy Elizabeth as well as her granddaughter Amy Rossina came to Canada in 1903 and settled in Fletcher Ontario.

Bowlby -- Squire James Bowlby died at his home, in Carey, born December 8, 1831, in Wayne county, and was in his eighty-second year at the time of death. Deceased came to Wynadot county in 1853 and lived on a farm, two and one-half miles west of Carey, until 1883, since which time he had lived in Carey. He was married January 1, 1857, to Amanda GRINDLE, who departed this life February 22, 1901. Five sons and five daughters were born to this union, including: J. W. Bowlby, of Fletcher, Ontario

LESLIE ELAINE HALL

Passed away on: 02/10/2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Leslie Hall in an automobile accident on October 2, 2010 at the age of 53 years.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband of five years, Edwin and her son, Kelly Myre, her parents Walter and Barbara Dore of White Rock, BC, her sisters: Kathryn Dore-Hall (Donald Hall) of White Rock, BC and Heather Dore (Geoff Grognet) of Sechelt, BC, brothers: Philip Dore of White Rock, BC and Michael (Valarie) Dore of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends from coast to coast in both Canada and the United States.

Leslie earned a degree in Psychology with Great Distinction from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. She was a Big Sister with the Chatham-Kent Big Sisters Association in Ontario and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, as well as a proud Torch Bearer for the Olympic Games in Calgary (1988) and in Vancouver (2010).

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Leslie's life was to be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way, Kamloops. Royal Inland Hospital Chaplain Viktor Gundel will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leslie may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation at 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 or to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home at 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
